UniHub requires access to your Google account to retrieve university-specific timetable data. We request permission to access your spreadsheets in order to fetch the schedule information relevant to your courses. Additionally, we collect your profile data (Name, Email, Profile Image) strictly for analytics purposes.

How We Use Your Information

The data we retrieve is used solely to enhance your experience on UniHub. Timetable data is stored locally on your device for quick access. None of your personal information is stored on any external databases, and profile data is never shared or sold to third parties.

Data Storage and Retention

Timetable data is temporarily saved in your device’s local storage, allowing easier access without requiring repeated logins. The data remains in local storage for a limited time and is automatically cleared when it is no longer needed. None of your personal information is permanently stored or transferred outside your device.

Data Protection & Security

UniHub takes user data protection seriously. All personal data, including timetable information and profile data (Name, Email, Profile Image), is securely handled and accessed over encrypted connections using OAuth 2.0. We ensure that data is protected from unauthorized access during use, and no personal data is stored in any external database.

Local storage on your device is used strictly for temporary purposes, and sensitive data is cleared automatically after its use. We use industry-standard security protocols to safeguard all interactions between UniHub and Google services.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to gather insights into how users interact with UniHub to improve the platform. For this purpose, we collect minimal personal data (Name, Email, Profile Image) solely for analyzing user behavior and enhancing the platform’s performance. This data is used internally and not stored on external servers.

Eligibility

UniHub is exclusively designed for students of The University of Student, specifically those enrolled in the CS and SE departments. By using UniHub, you confirm that you are a current student of the university with access to your respective university timetable data.
